MICHAEL L. GIOVANETTI, O.D.

Dr. Michael Giovanetti graduated Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1979. He did three years of undergraduate course work at Xavier University from 1972 to 1975. He has been an active member of the American Optometric Association and Ohio Optometric Association since graduation, and has served as past-president of the Cincinnati Optometric Association. He and his wife Paula celebrated 25 years of marriage in April of 2004, and have two children, Paul and Lynne. He has been active in the past with Boy Scouts of America, serving as Troop 871 Committee Chairman for over six years. He is an avid scuba diver, and has been volunteering with the Newport Aquarium Dive Team since November 1999. He has also been involved with radio control airplane modeling for over 30 years now.

JOSEPH A. GIOVANETTI, O.D.

Dr. Joseph Giovanetti graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1986. He did three years of undergraduate course work at Xavier University from 1979 to 1982. He is also a graduate of Elder High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, and Cincinnati Optometric Association. He and his wife, Mary Kay, have been married since June of 1985 and have three boys, Nick, Matt & Joseph. Their oldest son Nick is now starting college and possibly looking into a career in eyecare as well.

MARK GIOVANETTI Licensed Optician, ABO,NCLE

Mark Giovanetti is a licensed optician with a business degree from Cincinnati State College and an optical science degree as well. Mark has been the manager/owner of the Optical department of Giovanetti EyeCare,Inc.since 1986. He is also a member of the Ohio opticans association. He graduated from of Elder High School in 1983. He and his wife Jennifer have three boys, Jake, Dominic, and Noah. Mark is an avid Harley Davidson buff, and could possibly be persuaded to take you for a ride?if you dare!

Cheryl Sovern, Receptionist

Cheryl Sovern is our main receptionist, with an endless smile and always happy to greet you. She has been with Giovanetti EyeCare Inc. since April of 1996. She and her husband Brian are busy enjoying an ever-growing brood of grandchildren. Cheryl is usually the first person you will talk to when calling in, and she works hard to make sure Giovanetti EyeCare gives you the best service.

Lynne Marie Giovanetti, Optometric Assistant

Lynne is the daughter of Dr. Michael Giovanetti, and is proud to serve Giovanetti EyeCare as a trained technician. She is currently enrolled at the College of Mt. Saint Joseph taking business studies. She is an accomplished dancer, and has spent over 6 years dancing with the Mystical Illusion dance team.

Kelly Biery, Optician

Kelly joined Giovanetti EyeCare in the fall of 2004, and is a licensed optician and also has an optical science degree from Cincinnati State college. She is quite skilled at helping you pick just the right frame, and guide you through the many lens options available today.

Mrs. Carissa Buckley

Carissa is back! Carissa worked for Giovanetti EyeCare during her High School and College years as an Optometric Technician, and after brief employment elsewhere came back to work with us once again. She now works in our Optical Boutique as an eyewear consultant, and is quite adept at helping you find just that right look! She recently gave birth to her first child, Mason Rae, who is Giovanetti EyeCare's newest spokesperson!
